This course is designed for
undergraduates who wish to make a career in fashion designing. This
rapidly growing field is full of exciting career opportunities in both the
garment industry and the private label sector.
Objectives:
The course is geared towards realizing
the following objectives
To enable
students who have completed 10+2 or equivalent to pursue a career in the
field of fashion design
To enable
students to learn the various aspects of the fashion industry and design
methods as applied to garments
To enable students to gain a
thorough working knowledge of the use of computers and IT in fashion
design
Eligibility:
10+2 or equivalent / 3 year diploma
from state board of technical education.
Duration:
3 Years (6 Semesters)

Program Fees: Rs. 10,000.00 per Semester Exam Fees: Rs. 500.00 per Semester
Lateral Entry:
2nd Semester: Successful completion of
10+2 and six months Fashion Designing course.
L. E. Fee:
Candidates applying for lateral entry will pay Lateral entry fee Rs.
2500.00 and will have to appear in the examination of immediate previous
semester.
